Training Programme

DIPLOMA IN HOTEL MANAGEMENT

Duration

60 days – 240 Hours

Programme Structure

This programme consists of 12 modules of four consecutive days each. Each session lasts 6 hours. Two modules will be conducted at one go. Each module is followed by assignments and examinations and at the end of the programme participants have to submit a 30, 000 word dissertation. Upon successful completion of the programme, participants are awarded a joint SHATEC – HSM Diploma.

Programme Objective

This course aims at providing participants with a broad knowledge of hotel management principles and practice applicable in all areas of operations.

Entry Requirements

This modular programme is specially designed for supervisors wishing to upgrade to middle management positions or middle managers who want to enhance their management knowledge and skills. Participants must have a good educational background – at least 3 “O” Levels – and be fully fluent in English language.
